Frequently Asked Questions

How much does it cost?

The Boudoir Session starts at $300. I’m here to help you through the process every single step of the way. That includes a free consultation and as many emails, texts, and phone calls as it takes!

I’m not a model, I’ve never done anything like this before, is that a problem?

I understand what it’s like to worry about your body and how it will look through a camera. Absolutely no one knows how to pose during the session, that’s one of the things you’re hiring me for! I will direct you as best as I can and will even pose myself. Your only job during the session is to just relax and have fun! You’re not just hiring someone to take photos of you, you’re hiring someone to be your number one fan who’s whole day is all about making you have an amazing time.

I guarantee you’ll leave with amazing photos that you’ll cherish for the rest of your life.

Will my photos be on the internet?

Only with your written permission! I deeply value every photo I’m allowed to upload. You have full power over how many photos I’m allowed to upload, which photos, and whether to only have them on my website or my website as well as social media. Privacy is of the utmost importance to me.

I have some concerns about my body, do you photoshop?

To a certain point. I’m not here to make you look like someone you’re not. I want to capture your pure essence so the only lengths I go to when it comes to photoshop is to get rid of temporary blemishes; things like bug bites, pimples, scratches and the like. I also get rid of anything that may be distracting in backgrounds.

Can I bring a friend?

You can! I encourage it actually, whatever or whomever you need to help you feel comfortable and most of all safe. And no, there’s no extra charge to any extra person present for the session.

Do you offer hair and makeup services?

I’m deeply sorry to say that I do not. An ideal scenario is for you to make a day out of the session and to get dolled up beforehand. The most I can provide is the info of a cosmetologist in the town I’m located in (Orange Grove, TX).

so you’re a guy? um. . .

I know, that fact might be the one deal-breaker for you, it doesn’t help that I’m not that good looking ha ha. I promise you with every ounce of my being that I am here to genuinely be your best friend, that’s one of the things the consultation and hundreds of texts are for. I can also promise that there are some HUGE benefits to hiring a male Boudoir Photographer. Above all, I am here to provide a professional, comfortable, and safe experience.

I have anxiety, what if I start to feel uncomfortable half way through?

I may be directing your poses but I assure you that the person with all the power is you. If you think a pose is too much or too explicit, you can either tell me, tell your friend if you brought one, or you can request a robe for immediate coverage. You can even just get out of whatever pose your in, tell me to shut my eyes, and you can make your way to another room. You can even request for me to go to a another room. Afterword when everyone is relaxed again, we can either continue the session, pick it up another time if your unhappy with the amount of photos, or just call it quits right there and then.

do you have a studio?

I’m afraid I do not. I’m still starting out and trying to get my name out into the world. Any session would have to be at any one of these locations:

  • Your home.

  • A nice hotel like the Omni Corpus Christi Hotel with a view

  • An airbnb

  • Any location you can think of that may allow a boudoir session to take place.

I am trying to convert my home into a photography studio, but that’s going to be a very long process.

so what are the benefits of hiring a male boudoir photographer?

In my personal experience and to put it bluntly, women can be mean, I’m not here to be mean. Other than that, here are some other benefits.

  1. Men and women obviously see women differently:

A female boudoir photographer may not like the old top you decided to bring and might say that it’s not sexy. However, maybe your husband loves it, he sees your body in it in a way the female photographer would never, but I would. As absurd and as uncomfortable as it sounds, men do notice the little things and I’m here to honorably appreciate them for the sake of your husband, granted the photos are for him in the first place. I do couples boudoir sessions as well!

  2. You may want a male’s perspective to give your husband the best jaw-dropping photos.

I’ve had a few women tell me that they’d actually prefer me because a man should know what a man wants to see. Remember however, this isn’t porn, yes nudity may be involved if you so desire, but the core value of a boudoir session is to make beautiful art that worships the female body. I will never ask you to simply flaunt your “goods” at the camera, that’s not boudoir and that’s not art.

  3. I have a deep voice.

I’ve been told that my voice can be very calming and helps people relax.

  4. Having a male behind the camera can help you get into character.

There’s plenty of women out there who can actually feel opposed to having a female photographer and would prefer a male. Something about having a male boudoir photographer has to ability to help women show their sexy side.
